David, 100% agree that sustainable alternatives need to be presented. GiveDirectly is one organization doing some really interesting work to better understand how basic income impacts communities. The two books I mentioned at the end of this book also go into much greater detail on potential economic models as well. I certainly don’t have the answer on the path forward, but I’m trying to understand the possibilities that are out there.
