I’m curious if you have any advice for the managers of “challengers.” It sounds like you recognize the difficulties (i.e., always asking questions, raising issues) that your work style causes :) and I’m wondering if you’ve learned anything about managing people who are motivated by proving people wrong…sounds like a tough job…particularly for new/less experienced managers.
I think Brian’s approach of saying, ok, but do it on your own is one potential idea. Would love to hear if you have others.
