I’m not a developer and I’m feeling similar frustrations. One of Mac’s most simple joys was that they were nearly impervious to viruses, today that’s still true..but increasingly the software itself behaves like a virus.

I’m a notorious password-forgetter (I know, set up 1Password, I’ll get there..ok! :) The other day I had to reset my Apple password. It involved a maze of phone/computer notifications. Whatever, I got it reset, everything is good. Two days later, and my phone is still showing pop-ups telling me to use the reset code to change my password. Argh!

I quit using iTunes years ago for this exact reason.

So…after a decade plus as an Apple user, I’m considering making the leap…
